There isn’t much going on at the moment as Jonti and Cree are having a break until just before the Premier Shows start towards the end of January.
They are both enjoying being out in the field together getting very muddy!
The last show I competed at was Ingliston Senior Premier Show in Scotland. It is quite a long journey but the venue is excellent so always worth the trip.
Cree had four faults in the Under 23 Olympia qualifier for 2012, which I was pleased with because there were only four clears and the course was up to 1.50m.
Cree also had an upright down in the Grand Prix on the final day which was a very large class and full of big names so again I was far from disappointed and our partnership continues to grow as we jump more bigger tracks.
Jonti also jumped well coming seventh in the Blue Chip Dynamic B&C qualifier. He jumped a double clear, only to be beaten by those who went super fast to qualify for Hickstead.
There is no rush with Jonti, he is so talented that we are always looking forward to the future with him.
The next thing for me is keeping the youngsters going and hoping for some good performances over the winter months.
I am also look forward to watching my sister jump in one of the Pony classes at Olympia. I am very excited for her and the family will be there to cheer her on! So keep your fingers crossed for her…
All that is left to say is… I hope you all have a good Christmas and Happy New Year!
Laura
