YOUNG Laura Robinson showed star quality at the Horse of the Year Show riding the super talented Jonti in the National 7-year-old Championship.
First to go the EquestrianClearance.com sponsored rider, put in a brilliant round to go clear and get the class off to a great start.
A new ride for Laura this season, Jonti is proving a great addition to her string and was one of just five clears in the class.
Getting the jump-off under way Laura came home clear in 48.07 seconds after another great effort.
Laura then had to watch as the four other riders took up the challenge with Trevor Breen and Bruce Menzies both finishing in a faster time, to leave Laura and Jonti in third place.

Laura said: “It was a big challenge for both of us and I am delighted with the result. Jonti went brilliantly and I couldn’t have asked for more.
“We have only been together for a few months and to finish in the top three at HOYS in a national final is brilliant.
“The class was on the same evening as the EquestrianClearance.com Senior Newcomers Championship so it was a very exciting night for my sponsor.
“Jonti coped so well with the atmosphere and occasion and we couldn’t have asked for more.”

Hello, I was looking for Cree Cruiser as I have a 2 year old by Cree’s full brother Gold Cruise (who has now been castrated). It is very interesting to read how you are getting on with him. I am hoping my boy will follow in his uncles foot steps and he has been known to jumping out of fields to get to greener grass. If you want to get in touch e-mail me.
